New Google Adwords Ads Structure

Google always keeps experimenting with Adwords. First they made the display url all lower case and people in the industry didn’t know why they did it. They must have a good reason to do it and maybe one of the reasons was that all the url’s in the organic listing are lower case. Now the Adwords ads are more in line with the organic listing. Many people where not happy with this and they said it will hurt CTR.

Today I checked the ads in adwords and could see that Google is changing the ads again maybe to compensate with the previous decision to make the display url lower case.   The titles of the Google ads are always 25 characters long and sometimes it is a struggle to fit everything in the title. Now they moved the first line of the description to the title. When you have the keywords in the title and in the first line of the description your ads will stand out even more because it gets bold.  This will improve the CTR.
